I believe that neurodivergence isn’t a deficit—it’s a difference. After all, when a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower. Every child and family deserves to be seen, understood, and supported in a way that celebrates their unique strengths and needs.
My approach is rooted in compassion, education, and empowerment. I provide families with the knowledge, tools, and guidance they need to navigate the complexities of ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent experiences. Rather than trying to "fix" behaviours, I focus on fostering connection, self-awareness, and confidence—helping children and parents alike thrive in a world that often wasn’t designed with them in mind.
I take a strengths-based, family-centred approach, ensuring that every child feels valued, every parent feels empowered, and every family finds a way forward that works for them. When we support neurodivergent individuals to be their authentic selves, we don’t just change lives—we change the world.
I am a fully qualified paediatric nurse with a Master’s (MSc) in School Nursing, and I have dedicated my career to the wellbeing of children, young people, and families. With many years of experience working within NHS CAMHS services and commissioning at senior levels, I have supported individuals of all ages in navigating the complexities of neurodivergence.
I am especially passionate about helping neurodivergent individuals and their families to better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and develop the confidence to thrive in their own way. Whether supporting young children, teenagers, or parents, my focus is always on empowering people to embrace their unique way of thinking and experiencing the world.
I work in a neuro-affirmative way, recognising that neurodivergence is a natural variation of the human experience—not something to be "fixed" or changed. My approach is all about helping individuals and families identify their strengths and use them to their advantage, ensuring they feel empowered, understood, and supported every step of the way.
I offer 1:1 support for children and young people, helping them understand themselves in the context of their neurodivergence and adolescence. Through a neuro-affirmative, strength-based and family-centred approach, I guide individuals in recognising their strengths, building self-awareness, and developing strategies that work for them. I also work closely with families, providing insight and practical tools to help them support their child in a way that embraces neurodiversity.
I offer pre-diagnostic support, helping families recognise signs and symptoms that may indicate further assessment is needed.
For many, receiving a diagnosis is just the beginning, and post-diagnostic support is often lacking. I help children, young people, and their families navigate what a diagnosis means for them, offering guidance on next steps, self-acceptance, and accessing the right support for the future.
I provide practical assistance with applications for DLA, PIP, and EHCPs, ensuring families feel informed and supported throughout the process.
In addition, I provide consultation for schools, helping educators better understand and support neurodivergent students. By working collaboratively, I aim to create inclusive learning environments where all children can thrive.
